The Counselling Place offers private one to one counselling to those who need it in Falkirk, Stirlingshire, and beyond.  We offer both short term counselling and longer term psychotherapy, depending on your needs.

 

The Counselling Place can help with a number of presenting mental health issues, including:  Anxiety, depression, stress, anger, low self-esteem, worry, self harm, suicidal ideation, overthinking, sleep problems, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and many other mental health symptoms and disorders.

 

Counselling can also help with factors which may be impacting your mental wellbeing or daily life, including: ​Relationship/family issues, trauma, abuse, bullying, bereavement, separation/divorce, work-related stress, phobias, addictions, neurodiversity, physical heath issues, historic family or childhood issues, carers issues, sexual issues and more.

All our counsellors are fully qualified to a high standard and are members of an professional body, as well as being fully insured.

My name is Jane Boyd

I am a fully insured, qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, with 10 years experience working in various mental health roles within the charity sector.  I have worked with adults and young people aged 13 plus, who are experiencing mental ill health and reduced mental wellbeing, with a range of symptoms and presenting issues. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).
